Asplenium Scolopendrium is more commonly known as Hart's Tongue Fern. The Harts tongue fern is a wonderful evergreen fern, its most useful in woodland or rocky gardens against wild Summer bulbs. The Bright green fronds grow in a rosette shape. Unusual for a fern they are undivided giving it a substantial look. Being evergreen this fern gives interest all year round. On the underside on the mature fronds are tiger like stripes.

Pruning is not necessary but any dead fronds should be removed to promote healthy regrowth. Rabbit and deer tolerant, this is an easy fern to grow and maintain.
