Polypodium vulgare is otherwise known as Common Polypody, it is an evergreen, hardy, fern. The leathery like fonds are a deep dark green and are ladder shaped. On the underside of the fronds a distinctive pimple affect appear on the more mature fronds. It can grow up to 30cm tall but if space is not restricted it will grow larger.
Will grow best in wild gardens, well drained boarders, on banks and walls or even in gravel gardens.
