Gaura lin 'Whirling Butterflies' is a delicate but robust flower. Its four petalled butterfly like shaped flowers in crisp white colour dangle and drape from the thin pink airy striking stems. This flower is native to North America so is a full Sun lover and thrives well in well drained sandy soils.

Perfect for a sunny border or even a rocky garden, and doesn't look out of place in a natural flower garden too.

The trouble with ordering herbaceous perennials in November is that they're "asleep" when they arrive. However, although the foliage had been cut back for winter, every one of the plants had the most amazing root systems. Very healthy, very robust. Can't wait for them to spring into life next year.
Excellent service all round, delivery arrived on time, the driver was helpful and I was impressed with the quality of every plant in the consignment. Very happy customer.
