Knotweed is the more common name for Persicaria affins 'Darjeeling Red'. Bright Crimson colour flowers that quickly turn to a deeper red and fade with age. These are carried above the thick carpet of deep green leaves, which also turn into a warm red towards the Autumn.
Suitable for virtually any situation. Can tolerate a lot and can be easily controlled. It can be a skin irritant so gloves are advised when handling.
