Thymus Vulgaris Compactus is more commonly known as Compact Thyme. It gets its name from being the more compact of its variety only growing to a maximum of 30cm, however if grown in a soil that it too rich it will become 'leggy' and lose its compact shape. This evergreen shrub boasts large amounts of green aromatic leaves, in the summer tiny pink-purple flowers blossom which makes a great attraction for butterflies. Sun-loving, long-lasting, and easy to care for are great reasons to have this in your garden.
