Q: What inspired you to become a garden designer?

A: I've had a deep love for both design and nature since I was young. Garden design felt like the perfect way to bring those two passions together—creating beautiful, functional spaces that connect people to the outdoors.

Q: How long have you been in practice?

A: I've been in practice since 2021, and in that time, my company has grown significantly. It's been a rewarding journey, especially seeing how much can be achieved in a relatively short period.

Q: Where did you train?

A: I completed a 4-year degree in Horticulture, specializing in Landscaping, at the University of Agricultural Sciences and Veterinary Medicine of Cluj-Napoca, graduating in 2019.

Q: Which award winning Chelsea Flower Show gardens inspire you?

A: I really loved the ‘’The Nurture Landscapes Garden’’ by Sarah Price

Q: Where do you gain inspiration for your garden designs?

A: I draw inspiration from my travels around the world, as well as from art, interior design, and—most of all—nature. Each of these influences helps me create gardens that feel both unique and deeply connected to their surroundings.

Q: Do you always tend to work with the same landscaper to install your gardens?

A: We are a design and build company so we build all of our gardens.

Q: Tulips or Grasses what are your favourites and why?

A: That's a tough one! But if I had to choose, I’d say grasses. They offer year-round interest, bring beautiful texture to a space, and there's something truly magical about the way they move in the wind.

Q: In one sentence how would you encapsulate the transformative power of gardens?

A: Gardens are life-changing—they have the power to heal, inspire, and completely transform the way we experience our surroundings.

Q: What advice would you offer to newly qualified designers?

A: Stay curious, keep learning, and don’t be afraid to start small as every project is a chance to grow your skills, express your creativity, and build your unique voice as a designer.

Q: Which trade shows do you like to attend?

A: The Chelsea Flower Show is my absolute favorite, it's incredibly inspiring and showcases the best in garden design. I also really enjoy attending Futurescape for its practical insights.

Q: Which areas of the country do you cover?

A: We’re happy to work anywhere, but most of our projects are concentrated in London, Surrey, Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire, and Berkshire.

Q: Do you specify products for your designs?

A: Yes, we specify products as part of our designs. We always present proposed samples to our clients.

Q: Are you part of any trade body organisation?

A: Not at the moment.
