Brief
Large Family Garden

This generous outdoor space is to be an extension of the home, with plenty of room for the family's three children and two dogs to stretch their legs.
Entertaining family and friends in a relaxing setting was also on the client's wish list and I think the pictures will show that Emma has met the brief with her usual aplomb.

Challenge
Co-ordinating Skills Sets

Emma tells us that along with main contractor, James Gamble Construction Ltd, they found that the garden build per-se was reasonably straight forward. However the challenge came when working with multiple specialists. Not because anyone was difficult to work with --- but co-ordinating lead times for materials, concrete polishing contractors, oak pergola contractors etc and keeping the project running smoothly needed a bit of jiggling at times. It's something that almost every landscaper and garden designer will be familiar with.

Solution
Understated Elegance In A Beautiful Setting

What can we say about this project? It's modern and classical at the same time. Formal, yet relaxed and, we're told, it's just a taste of what's to come. For this is just the first phase of a much larger garden makeover.
A beautifully proportioned Egyptian limestone patio terrace is the perfect place to step outside and enjoy al-fresco dining or relaxing to the sounds of nature. The patio extends to form a pathway to the side the property and the whole is hugged by low hedges and well chosen plants. It's a triumph!
The contractor, James Gamble Construction Ltd had never bought from Arbour Landscape Solutions before (thankyou, Emma for specifying our products) and was reportedly impressed by the customer service. " James said he has never ever had a company keep him up to date so much in all his years as a builder. He found he didn't have to worry about anything! which is not the case usually when dealing with builders' merchants."
