Brief
Make the garden more inviting for outdoor dining

Adam Clint and the team at ARC Landcape Gardens of Stowmarket were invited to refresh this rather tired looking garden.
The householders have worked with Adam on previous projects and asked him to bring their garden into the 21st century without losing any of it's traditional character. The main requirement was to be able to enjoy the sun at any time of day - but especially in the evenings.

Challenge
Hot weather and tight deadlines

As so often happens in the UK, the weather made work more difficult than it needed to be. Rising temperatures, arid conditions and a timeframe of less than a week meant that the landscapers were pushed to their limits. There was certainly no margin for error with procurement - one late delivery would have jeopardised the entire project.

Solution
Timely deliveries, quality products

Adam and his team removed the tired pavers and created a new, bigger patio, using 600mm x 900mm Ashwood Grey Limestone edged with granite setts for a stylish and sleek appearance. The new patio was carefully placed so that it would catch the sun in the afternoons and evenings. Perfect for relaxing and eating al-fresco at the tail end of the day.
GFTK vdw800 was used for the pointing and jointing. It's a great product to use in challenging weather conditions, plus it's fast - ideal for when you're working to a tight deadline.
