Sinai Pearl Beige Acid Washed/Sandblasted Surface,Pre-Sealed, Tumbled Edges Limestone Slim-Setts

Sinai Pearl Beige Limestone Acid Washed/Sandblasted Surface Finish, Tumbled Edges, Pre-Sealed Limestone Slim-Setts are one of the most exciting products we’ve seen so far in this category.  

Is it their colour? Well, they are a brilliant match for our Sinai Pearl Beige Pre-Sealed Paving and so could be used to bring textural contrasts to a project.  

What about the finish? We think that’s the most exciting part of these slim-setts - they’re available in a choice of finishes.  Honed, Sandblasted, or Acid Washed.  Not sure which you’d prefer? Order some samples today so that you can compare and contrast them.

From a garden designer’s point of view, the slimline shape of these setts give a sleek and stylish appearance.  Not only that - their size and shape means that you’ll use fewer grouting materials for the equivalent area of square setts or brick pavers.  Saving you (and your client) some money.  Plus, It may sound like a little thing - but they do fit easier into your hand, and that makes them more comfortable to work with.

Of course, as with any natural stone product, Sinai Pearl Beige Limestone Acid Etched/Honed Surface Finishes,Tumbled Edges Slim-Setts PreSealed will show some colour variations within the batch - that’s all part of their charm. You’ll probably also see natural veining, a bit of pitting and some mottling,  Occasionally rust marks might appear in the stone. It’s a natural phenomenon, not a fault and will  fade over time.

• Side 1- Acid Washed Surface Finish with Tumbled Edges. Pre-Sealed.
• Side 2- SandBlasted Surface Finish with Tumbled Edges. Pre-Sealed.
• 850 per crate @ 950kg.
• Approx 8.5m2 coverage per pack, approx.
• Minimum 3-5mm joint width recommended.
• Factory Pre-Sealed using a sacrificial water based breathable sealer.
• Can be laid on either 50mm side or a mixture of both sides.
• Acid Washed Side. Pendulum Test Value, Shod Foot Test -  66 Dry / 51 Wet, Slip Risks-Dry-Low, Wet-Moderate, Bare Foot Test - 79 Dry/57 Wet, Slip Risks- Dry Low, Wet-Low.
• Sandblasted Side. Pendulum Test Value, Shod Foot Test - 64 Dry / 51 Wet, Slip Risks-Dry-Low, Wet-Low, Bare Foot Test - 79 Dry/59 Wet, Slip Risks- Dry Low, Wet-Low.
• Includes delivery based on weekday, anytime, kerbside pallet line delivery. (Good access and flat surface essential for delivery). 
• Normally available within 3-5 working days subject to stock levels at the time of ordering.
• Please note limestone when laid is a strong material, however it can be brittle and whilst we take measures to protect the stone as best we can, damages do unfortunately happen in transit. We will replace any slabs that arrive broken, but please handle with care.
• Disposal of all packaging/pallets is the responsibility of the customer. 
• We suggest to order 5% for wastage.
• Deliveries to Scotland may be subject to surcharges - please contact us if you are in Scotland and your order exceeds £3,000
• Fissures in stone are a natural part of the stone and are not considered flaws or defects. You can just admire them for making your stone project unique.
• Please note limestone dust residue could be present within the crates, once the products are laid the dust should be easily removed with water, hard brush/pressure washing application.

  WE ADVISE THAT ALL NATURAL STONE SHOULD BE IDEALLY LAID ON PERMEABLE DRAIN MORTAR WITH PERMEABLE JOINTING COMPOUNDS WITH MINIMUM 3MM JOINT WIDTHS & MINIMUM DEPTHS OF 20MM OR WITH A SEMI DRY SHARP SAND-CEMENT 4:-1 WITH SUITABLE BONDING BRIDGE.

  THE SAMPLES SHOULD ALWAYS BE VIEWED UNDER NATURAL LIGHT, WHICH SHOULD IDEALLY REPLICATE THE ENVIRONMENT OF THE IN-SITU PRODUCT.
  WHILST THE PRODUCTION PROCESSES ARE CLOSELY CONTROLLED, AS A NATURALLY OCCURRING PRODUCT, DEVIATIONS FROM THE MEAN DO OCCUR BOTH INTERMS OF THE NATURAL STONE ITSELF AND THE RESULTANT SURFACE TEXTURES, FINISHES AND COLOURS SUBSEQUENTLY PRODUCED DURING THE PRODUCTION PROCESS, THEREFORE WE ARE UNABLE TO GUARANTEE A REPLICATION OF THE SAMPLES PRODUCED.
