Wildflower Turf Finisher

The perfect product for creating a neat finish to your Wildflower Turf project.  This pre-seeded growing medium enables you to fill small gaps between turves and is particularly useful for edges or for areas where Wildflower Turf has been trimmed to fit.

When your client is excited at the prospect of creating a beautifully biodiverse wildflower area, the last thing they want to see is raggedy edges or visible joins between turfs.  

You and I both know that it can be tricky to handle a turf product where the plants are spaced to allow for growth. Particularly when it comes to trimming each piece to fit around trees, curves, edges etc.  You don’t want to slice through plants in your quest to create a neatly manicured edge,. Neither do you want to have small pieces of turf at the edge of a project where they will be vulnerable to drying out.

That’s where Wildflower Turf Finisher comes into its own.  It’s a lovely pre-seeded growing medium that you can apply to neaten any gaps and edges that might cause your customer to question the appearance of their wildflower area.   It can also be used after installation in the rare event that your wildflower mats establish unevenly.  Optimum depth is 40-50mm. Not suitable for areas greater than 250mm width.

Simply apply the Wildflower Turf Finisher as needed, tread in,  and water it well using a fine rose head.  Keep moist until the plants have germinated and are growing strongly.

Wildflower Turf Finisher is NOT meant for establishing larger areas with wild flowers.  For those, please take a look at our wildflower seed mixes or consider using MeadowScape Pro.

Each approx. 20Kg bag covers 2-5 square metres. (Recommended x2 bags per 50m2 of turf)
