DESCRIPTION

STAIN-PROOF WATERBORNE™ is a premium water-based sealing technology designed to seal a range of stone and masonry surfaces, including granite, travertine, limestone and marble.
STAIN-PROOF WATERBORNE protects against staining from oils and other contaminants and provides long-lasting water repellency.

Treated surfaces retain breathability, existing color and finish - surfaces are also easier to clean. For indoor, outdoor, residential and commercial use.

Application Rates:

Total application rate is approximately one quart per 20 to 250 sq. ft. (one litre per 2 to 25 sqm), depending on surface absorption.

How to Use

TEST PRODUCT ON A SMALL, INCONSPICUOUS AREA FIRST. Allow a 24-hour cure time to determine the ease of application and desired results.
Surface must be dry, clean and free of residues.
DO NOT thin product.
Generously apply STAIN-PROOF WATERBORNE™ using a clean brush, foam roller or a lambswool applicator.
Apply a second coat when surface is dry to touch, but before the surface is completely dry (typically ~30mins). Repeat steps 4 and 5 until surface is adequately sealed, usually after 2-3 coats. Avoid contact with surrounding areas. Total application rate is approximately one quart per 20 to 250 sq. ft. (one litre per 2 to 25 sqm), depending on surface absorption.
After the final coat, wait approximately 30 minutes but before the surface completely dries, polish the surface thoroughly with clean, dry, white cloths, towels or similar to remove excess product, moistening cloth with STAIN-PROOF™ WATERBORNE to ease polishing.
Use water to clean equipment.

NOTE: Sealer will NOT prevent surface etching, scuff marks or wear and may lighten or darken some surfaces. Spills should be cleaned up immediately to minimize absorption.

PRECAUTIONS: Apply when surface temperature is between 5 - 35°C (40 - 95°F). Avoid moisture contact with the surface for 24 hours after application. Use positive pressure respirator if ventilation is inadequate. Wear suitable solvent resistant gloves, protective clothing, safety goggles and an organic vapor respirator during application.
