Limestone has long been a popular choice with garden designers, landscapers and self builders. And these pre-sealed steps bring this durable product to a whole new level (excuse the pun!).  Investing in a pre-sealed product means that your steps will be stain resistant and less prone to problems with efflouressence. In short, your immaculately landscaped garden will keep its good looks for longer.

Sinai Pearl Grey Limestone paving is generally a mid-grey colour with enchanting natural veining coming from the minerals trapped within the rock when it formed.  These steps have a neat bullnose edge and a contemporary honed surface with tumbled edges. Straight units have a bullnose front edge, whilst corner units are bullnosed along two adjacent edges.

Arbour Landscape Solutions has a UK based stock holding of Sinai Pearl Grey Limestone pavers and steps, meaning that we can normally deliver your chosen products in as little as 2-3 working days after receipt of order.  Beause natural stone can be brittle and sometimes gets chipped in transit, we recommend ordering an extra 5% so that your project is not delayed.  We will, of course, replace any broken slabs provided you let us know about them within 48 hours of delivery.

Steps Specification

• Straight Unit Bullnosed along one long edge, 900 x 350 x 38-40mm x 30no per pack, 9.45m2 per pack, 975kg per pack.
• Internal/External Corners POA
• Tolerances +-3-5mm along all axis's.
• Honed Surface & Tumbled Edges.
• Factory Pre-Sealed using a sacrificial water based breathable sealer.
• Pendulum Test Value, Shod Foot Test -  66 Dry / 31 Wet, Slip Risks-Dry-Low, Wet-Moderate) Bare Foot Test - 55 Dry/8 Wet, Slip Risks- Dry Low, Wet-High) 
  (This surface finish is Not suitable for bare foot traffic around swimming-pools. We can provide alternative surface finishes or surface treatments that will not alter the surface colour appearance, get in touch for more information)

• Fissures in stone are a natural part of the stone and are not considered flaws or defects. You can just admire them for making your stone project unique.
• Please note limestone dust residue could be present within the crates, once the products are laid the dust should be easily removed with water, hard brush/pressure washing application.

Please note limestone when laid is a strong material, however it can be brittle and whilst we take measures to protect the stone as best we can, damages do unfortunately happen in transit. We will replace any slabs that arrive broken, but please handle with care.
We recommend ordering an extra 5% at the checkout to avoid potential delays on site.
For best results, we suggest that you mix paving between crates prior to installation.
Egyptian Grey limestone paving has occasional inclusions of mineral deposits which may present rust spots. These can be dealt with using Lithofin Bero if need be and will diminish over time through natural weathering.  

WE ADVISE THAT ALL NATURAL STONE SHOULD BE LAID ON PERMEABLE DRAIN MORTAR WITH PERMEABLE JOINTING COMPOUNDS WITH MINIMUM 3MM JOINT WIDTHS & MINIMUM DEPTHS OF 20MM OR WITH A SEMI DRY SHARP SAND-CEMENT 4:-1 WITH SUITABLE BONDING BRIDGE
PLEASE ENSURE THE INSTALLATION PRODUCTS ARE FIT FOR PURPOSE & YOU/YOUR TEAMS ARE TRAINED/EXPERIENCED IN USING & INSTALLING SAID PRODUCTS.
