Old Sinai Pearl Grey Honed/Tumbled Pre-Sealed Limestone Paving

Old Sinai Pearl Grey Limestone Pre-Sealed Paving. The colour, texture and detailing works well for both contemporary and traditional garden designs and will never go out of fashion. We've pre-sealed these pavers for your convenience, meaning that they are less porous and therefore less prone to staining, algae attack and/or efflorescence.

These images don't do the product justice. You need to order samples in order to appreciate the rich grey colour, the myriad of fine veins and the warm copper tones coming from the mineral pyrite which was trapped within the rock when it was formed millions of years ago.

 We have chosen the HONED SURFACE with TUMBLED EDGES to minimise chipping which can occur with limestone.

Paving Specification.

• 900mm x 600mm x 20mm x 30 per pack x 16.20m2 - 850kg 
• Factory Pre-Sealed using a sacrificial water based breathable sealer.
• Tolerances +-2-3mm.
• Honed Surface with Tumbled Edges.
• Pendulum Test Value, Shod Foot Test -  59 Dry / 31Wet (This surface finish is Not suitable for bare foot traffic around swimming-pools. We can provide alternative surface finishes or surface treatments that will not alter the surface colour appearance, get in touch for more information)

• 2-3 Working days lead time subject to stock levels at the time of ordering.

• We recommend you order samples to show your clients/contractors the finish.
• Fissures in stone are a natural part of the stone and are not considered flaws or defects. You can just admire them for making your stone project unique.
• Please note limestone dust residue could be present within the crates, once the products are laid the dust should be easily removed with water, hard brush/pressure washing application.

Please note limestone when laid is a strong material, however it can be brittle and whilst we take measures to protect the stone as best we can, damages do unfortunately happen in transit. We will replace any slabs that arrive broken, but please handle with care.
We recommend ordering an extra 5% at the checkout to avoid potential delays on site.
For best results, we suggest that you mix paving between crates prior to installation.
Egyptian Beige limestone paving has occasional inclusions of mineral deposits which may present rust spots. These can be dealt with trying Eff-Eayza if need be and will diminish over time through natural weathering.  

WE ADVISE THAT ALL NATURAL STONE SHOULD BE IDEALLY LAID ON PERMEABLE DRAIN MORTAR WITH PERMEABLE JOINTING COMPOUNDS WITH MINIMUM 3MM JOINT WIDTHS & MINIMUM DEPTHS OF 20MM OR WITH A SEMI DRY SHARP SAND-CEMENT 4:-1 WITH SUITABLE BONDING BRIDGE.

PLEASE NOTE ANY STONE SAMPLES SUPPLIED ARE INTENDED TO REPRESENT THE RANGE OF SURFACE FINISHES, TEXTURES AND COLOURS.
THE SAMPLES SHOULD ALWAYS BE VIEWED UNDER NATURAL LIGHT, WHICH SHOULD IDEALLY REPLICATE THE ENVIRONMENT OF THE IN-SITU PRODUCT.
WHILST THE PRODUCTION PROCESSES ARE CLOSELY CONTROLLED, AS A NATURALLY OCCURRING PRODUCT, DEVIATIONS FROM THE MEAN DO OCCUR BOTH INTERMS OF THE NATURAL STONE ITSELF AND THE RESULTANT SURFACE TEXTURES, FINISHES AND COLOURS SUBSEQUENTLY PRODUCED DURING THE PRODUCTION PROCESS, THEREFORE WE ARE UNABLE TO GUARANTEE A REPLICATION OF THE SAMPLES PRODUCED.
